This company found initial success in 2010, with its Icelandic-style yogurt. The rich, creamy texture and subtly sweet flavor made it an instant hit.
Now Smari has expanded to offer a unique beverage that offers both the caffeine and the protein needed to start your morning right, even when time is short.
Smari Asmundsson, the founder of the company, decided to create the beverage based on his own daily challenge with getting out the door in the morning. This one drink contains 10g of protein and 125-150mg of caffeine – about the same as 11⁄2 cups of coffee. These functional drinks are designed to provide energy without a crash or jitters.
This new product comes in three flavors, Iced Mocha, New Orleans and Keto Latte.
Smari is based in California and sources its milk locally, using Jersey and Guernsey cows because of the milk’s high fat content. Its focus is using high-quality, Non-GMO ingredients.
