You can also access our website at and visit our Claims and Returns department for processing your claims. Please note you need to have a web account to use this function. Please send an email to to fill in your application for user name and password.

Orders may be placed by calling or faxing Customer Care Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM and Sunday 8:00AM - 3:00PM. Please have your account number, the product number and the number of cases desired, or number of pieces if product is available by the piece. Customer Care will attempt to notify you of any possible out of stock items. Prices are subject to change without notification. Please note:  faxed orders must be received by 9:00AM on your order day.
UNFI customers have the option of receiving their small “repack” items in either a cardboard box or a plastic “tote”. For those customers who choose to use the reusable tote, there is a deposit of $6.00 per tote charged on the invoice. The driver will authorize a credit of $6.00 per tote when they are returned. UPS, Pickups, and International accounts will
receive their products in cardboard boxes. Racine and Hudson Valley customers can only receive cardboard totes. DC have the option to request cardboard only. Customers are set to receive plastic totes as a default. This can be changed by contacting Customer Care.

Living Naturally - An all vendor, one click, in-the-aisle ordering system designed specifically for UNFI customers. Please contact Living Naturally (800) 360-2231 for more information.
Web Ordering - Available on our UNFI web site.  You will need a customer login and password to order via the Website. Please visit WWW.UNFI.COM or contact WebSupport@UNIF.Com for more information.
iUNFI – Our newest electronic ordering format, using iPod/iPhone technology. Please contact your Territory Manager for details or customer Care during normal business hours.
DELIVERIES - Our delivery routes are identified by primary geographic territory and route number. Please contact our Customer Care Department to determine the order deadline and delivery days for your location via UNFI trucks.
UPS - The minimum order for product shipped via UPS is $150.00. UPS accounts are required to place an order at least once a month to remain active. Inactive accounts will be deleted without notification. Vitamins, Supplements, Personal Care, teas and nutritional bars (product in Volume Two) will be shipped Freight Free. Grocery items are subject to UPS shipping charges. The following cannot be shipped via UPS: glass containers, Frozen/Perishable items, Liquid (juice, water etc). COD customers will be charged the UPS COD charge.
HOLIDAYS - UNFI is closed on the following days: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you have any questions regarding your order or delivery day during a Holiday week, please contact our Customer Care Department to confirm.
