We support a number of nonprofit organizations, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Alameda Food Bank, Whole Planet Foundation. I am also part of a community
of BIPOC CPG leaders where we support other BIPOC CPG founders, and we actively partner with Gold House – a nonprofit collective of Asian & Pacific Islander founders, creative voices, and leaders – throughout the year.
I grew up in Singapore, where we
are obsessed with good food and amazing flavors. The tiny island is a melting pot of Asian cultures, full of food markets and hawkers in small stalls offering the signature dishes they’ve perfected over decades. I left Singapore and settled in Oakland, California, where I began to use fresh, local ingredients to create clean recipes for the favorite dishes of my youth, and the Nona Lim brand was born in 2014.
My small-batch, fresh Asian noodles, broths, and sauces are all infused with those childhood street food flavors and memories, adapted for
a healthy modern lifestyle with the highest quality vegetables, herbs, whole spices and fresh noodles—and never any MSG, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
