In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day on March 8th, UNFI Professional Services is excited to feature a few of the women-led organizations we partner with.
Women are still dramatically underrepresented in leadership roles, according to the leanin.org and McKinsey’s 2022 Women in the Workplace report. We celebrate these trailblazing women and continue to invest in the next generation of female leaders.
SYD HANNIGAN
Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales & Business Development, Pivotal Tools
Syd’s passion and perseverance helped her climb the ranks in grocery, after starting her career as a bagger at the Berkeley Co-Op. She spent decades bringing innovation to shelf merchandising with data-informed category management at scale that took customer preferences and local products into account. Today, she uses her vast grocery knowledge to bring actionable insights to retailers with the technology company, Pivotal Tools.
